I just tried this but did use black beans instead of kidney beans, and also used venison instead of beef.  This recipe was VERY good.  To me it almost tastes like a chili rather than a soup!  I&#039;m ok with that though!   Thanks for posting this!  Also what I like was the fact that there wasn&#039;t a lot of specialty ingredients that I don&#039;t normally have.  ;)</description>
