Reading and laughing at this thread, LOL. I can add at least one that I didn't think I saw.

Knowing where the bathroom is anywhere you go.
Saying to your kids when you're out shopping, "Guess what" and they all chime in "uuuuuuuugggggghhhhhh, MOM has to go to the bathroom!"

Too funny, and so true! I find that I get anxious when I see other people buying "high carb" crap in the store LOL....I even tried to calcuate the carb count in my mouthwash strips!

my input on how to tell if you are a hardcore low carber
1-you find that you are craving unsweetened jello, any flavor will do!
2-always checking internet for low carb recipes & low carb support groups
3-always thinking of ways to convert your old recipes to low carb
4-finding new ways to make something with eggs and pork rinds
5-when you began dreaming of eating something really sweet with real sugar.
6-when you have a hundred ways of fixing salads
7-when you can go out to dinner and ask for the low carb meal
8-when you can order a cheese burger and pull off the bun and eat the insides.
9-when water begins tasting really good to you
10-and last, you can tell if you are a hardcore low-carber if you can watch others eat anything and not be tempted to go off your low carb diet.

yep, i know i am a hard core low carber ,but i sure am loving it to and losing weight to in the process.
i think we all have at some times eaten a burger at Mcdonalds and took the bun off and ate the insides of it. Does that make us crazy, i don't think so, maybe look funny to others but hey who cares, we are low carbers and proud of it, right!

I made the nurse put me on the scale--to show the doctor the current number--since I had only been in a couple of weeks before she wanted to use the old number--it ws the same as the old one--but I wanted to make sure!
