Hi again,
I hit the wrong button hence my first message. Anyhow, I have been LCing (Atkins) since June 1, 2003 and have lost 33lbs. I am so happy! The past few days I have been having intermittent crampy right upper quadrant pain (i had my gallbladder removed after my son was born) I am concerned that I am developing gallstones again this time in my common bile duct. Anyone have any suggestions-I don't want to stop this way of eating.

I had my gallbladder removed in Jan 2000. Shortly thereafter I starting having the same pain on my right side. They thought I might be developing stones in the duct also. I had an ultasound and it turned up negative. Pain is gone and hasn't returned. I would suggest you go to the doc. No need to sit an worry..we all have enough stress in our lives.

if you find yourself with gallstones, there are home remedies you can treat yourself with to avoid surgery or expensive hospital treatments. you can easily find them by just using a search engine. they usually involve olive oil and lemon juice. my sister gets gallstones and does the home treatments to get rid of them, they are pretty effective for most people.
