Thanks Kim!.....am gonna get back to your stuff and read it right after I finish this post!

I broke my ankle in Feb (slipped on the ice).... so had to have it in a cast for awhile....and get around in a wheelchair. mostly....crutches were out of the question....I finally graduated to a walker....and I'm just now starting to walk on my own again (my poor ankle had a heck of a time with my almost 300 lbs...) I'm not a youngster anymore, at 68 years old! Plus I'm diabetic...*sigh*

I think the fact that I'm now feeling terrible about still having a hard time getting around is another great motivation to get this weight off....ONCE AND FOR ALL! *sigh*....and try to add a few more years to my life (I think Michael Landon and I were the same age).....

ouch... i hear ya... it was basically my KNEE that sent me in the direction of losing weight... i THOUGHT it was in pain because of my size... and several falls on the ice... but it turned out to be a TEAR and i let it go for over a year.. heck.,..maybe TWO years before i actually went in and found out what was wrong... (wasnt to hip on the idea of a doc telling me that OF COURSE YOUR KNEES HURT.. LOOK WHAT THEY ARE CARRYING AROUND!!! *L*...okay.. maybe they wouldnt have said THAT ... but you know..

anywho.. 68 is the PERFECT age to start something new and work at it..*wink*... what better time than the present? eh?

Kimmmieee!

I just finished reading page three of your first journal (and goodness girl....I feel I really know you....I LOVE the way you write....reminds me of me...AND my crazy, goofy sister Kathy, whom I love so much!). That's meant in the very nicest way!

And I can really identify with hating to cook,and hating to do dishes too! Boy can I identify!

It's also amazing that you're a grandmother, cuz you look so darn young!

Are you a Saggitarius by any chance? Just seems like it to me.

I also got to see most of the pictures on your BLOG....I would have seen them all, except for the fact that the last few turned out to be only little boxes with x's in them...(I hate it when that happens).... I hope that they will be there when go back to have another look...

You're darn cute, gal.....cute grandkids too.....and that pic of Sebastian sitting on the rock in the water looks like a statue....I thought it was a statue at first.....

I plan to finish that journal, plus the second one....good reading....

It's been nice getting to know you, Kim....

```````` B A R B I E
It's good to see you here too, gal...
I probably would not have been able to get back to this website had it not been for YOU....I went to google and put in "low carb eating" and got another site, altogether (which I thought was this one)....even tho, there were no familiar names or anything....(like duh!)
It's good to be back. I missed you guys too....and yes you were right...I was welcomed with open arms....and I'm getting sooooo inspiried!~
Glad you turned up...I was wondering where you were.....
Ginni
And I'll be a dancin' fool at my niece's wedding next month, cuz' I'm planning on eating a TAD of wedding cake and then dancing it off!!!! (But I won't be wearing anything that looks remotely like THAT dress, )
