Default So Happy!!!

So I restarted this WOE 6/1/2005 after falling off the wagon a year ago I had originally started at 240 pounds lost 40 in 6 months and yep wouldn't ya know it I gained it all back and then some. Well this time around DH is on plan with me eventho' he is already at a healthy weight (what a great guy!) which is really helping me. Last time I did indction I refused to weigh myself during the 1st fourteen days because I knew I needed an impact weight loss like 10 pounds or something last time around I lost 15 pounds in the first two weeks this time around I couldn't resist a peak and 9 days in I am down 12.5 pounds!!! I am so happy. Heres to continuing losses and feeling better!

I love this site I have been lurking for a couple of months before deciding to go back on plan and I am glad I did, I feel so much better already and my DH already notices my mood changes (in a good way

Well thanks for listening and eventhough I have been lurking I love all the support and caring this site has for its members...

Welcome BabyCups!

Glad to see you back on track and what a wonderful husband to change his eating habits to help you, what a sweetheart. I bet you'll do great. I fell off for two and a half mmonths and tried and tried again to restart so I know how hard it can be but it sounds like you have a handle on it.

Yes I am lucky to have a DH that is supportive of my WOE my DH is not so wonderful in other areas such as LAUNDRY, however, something like this he is really supportive and that is a good thing!

suspansa- yes, you can have fried meat if the meat doesn't have sugar.

if you really hope to be successful, though, you need to pick a plan and get the book so you know exactly what to eat and how to do your plan. otherwise, you're really cutting your chances of doing well WAY down. for example, if you want to do atkins, you need dr. atkins new diet revolution.

good luck!

Thanks All! I appreciate the support, I agree with Goddess Suspansa pick a book and read it I follow protien power since I find Atkins a bit more restrictive it allows coffee and a few other things that Atkins has as a no-no however I follow induction Atkin's way then up my carbs 5 grams per week to the 30 they allow you until you are in maintenance, they are a bit more restrictive overall than Atkin's at least that is what I gathered last time I did this, but I liked their plan both are really similar and Atkins has a great site so both offer great benefits, plus there are a ton more plans out there you just need to find the right fit for you!

My menu bsically consists of a carb solutions chocolate shake every morning net cabs 3 (I use the powder) I can't eat breakfast so the shakes are a lot of nutrition and protien in one 8 oz serving, however they cause some people to stall or gain I am not a sweets person to say so they really do nothing for me as far as trigger the "sugar craves" some people experience

Lunch is either an omelette with some cheese and bacon and some sort of veggie or sometimes I make a bunless hamburger and have a side salad

and Dinner is some sort of protien with brocolli and cheese, a salad (depending on if I had one for lunch) or brocolli slaw (made with splenda instead of sugar)

Good luck on your weight loss!
