Smile New to the group...

Hello Everyone...
I am 235 lbs. I have tried the low carb life style before. I did the Atkins program and lost about 20 lbs. I would like to try again. A little personal info. I am 45 and have been married 25 years. My 3 kids are all grown and the last one went back to collage. I am a quilter. I sew everyday. I have a dog. I have been a stay a home mom and now I finally have time for myself. I live in Florida. My Dad lives in Gulfport Ms. and I don't know if he's ok or not. Im very worried about him. Looking forward to meeting you all.
Glenda

Welcome Glenda. Nice to have you join the forum. I add my hopes that your father is OK. Mother nature is a terrible thing sometimes. Congrats on the 25 years of marriage that is a feat in itself so I bet you'll do well with low carb

Glad to meet ya!
I'm sorry to about the situation with your dad. I completely understand, my uncle's family is in Biloxy, Gulfport, and New Orleans! We're hoping they got out.
My thoughts and prayers are with your dad as well!
