    Default Weekly Weigh-In 9/25- 10/1/05

No loss again for me. I feel like I'm letting you down. I really want you all to do better than me. so let me just be the BAD example for a while. I'll get myself back on track soon! I can feel it coming.

Hope everyone had a good week weightwise and otherwise.

rob- i think the best example is somebody who hangs in, the weeks when it's peeling off and the weeks where it's not... (that's what i keep telling myself, anyway!) if it was about being perfect, i'd be so outta here by now.

i, too, have no losses to report this week, although i am bopping around those 10 pounds that have been annoying me the last few months. but you know what? i still am doing great, i still look and feel great, and i'm still taking good care of myself.

    peace out to all.

Thanks for the encouragement Rhonda and Dixie! It means a lot when I'm so down on myself. I'm to blame for most of the non-losses but even in weeks when I've been good the losses have been nonexistant. Maybe my body is fearful after losing over 100 pounds? I am NOT giving up this woe/wol. I know from past experience that I am capable of gaing 1/2 pounsd a day. I did just that for 4 months after I quit smoking. yep 60 pound gain in 3 months and 20 days. So to gain a pound in a month? who's complaining.

    So true, Rob.

I'm not complaining though today is the start of TOM so I weighed yesterday morning. I'm 296 and pleased as punch.

Rob, I would tend to agree, after losing 100 pounds or so, your body has to be in "shock" and say..... wait a minute.... let's slow this stuff down! Your dedication to exercise has always amazed me..... you are truly the inspiration! I often tell myself when I get discouraged or want something off plan........ look where you are....... and look how far you've come! I admire you so, so cheer up my dear friend

Noel, that 100lb mark is getting VERY close! KEep up the good work...I started TOM today too...I am still up the two extra from the spring and about 7 form signature...but alas, until I get back to swimming every day and get over whatever it is I have...I doubt very seriously I am going to make much progress on those 7 lbs!

Rob..keep on keeping on...you will get there...and I think too that after 100lbs it may well be a "hold it a minute buster" moment for the body as it adjusts to being that size, shape and weight!

I do the same thing Rhonda...but lately not often enough...I have made some really wacky choices lately...though TOM often does that to me anyway...

The weight has finally started going back down! From last week's 142.5 to today's 136.5. Went to the dr.'s office yesterday and was 138 even with all my clothes and my shoes on! First time he hasn't made a point to give me pamphlets on exercise!! HA!
