That water retention is a real pain. I had a diet soda yesterday, something I gave up almost 3 years ago. except for the occasional indulgence. Yesterday was one such indulgence. I happened to weigh myself before i left the house so when i got home 2 hours (and a big gulp) later I reweighed just to see if there was any effect. up 1 1/2 pounds. Go figure what causes water retention besides sodium. The only chinese food i allow myself is made at home. In fact I rarely eat out any more. I just don;t trust food I have no control over.
