Default Weekly weigh-in 6/11-6/17/06

I won't say how much above signature I am after a few days at the beach followed by a week with my non-low carb sister. But it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. In fact I'm a pound and a half less than i was a week ago. Still a way to go to get back to signature weight. But now that I'm starting to increase my walking a bit I have a good shot at getting there,

Hope everyone had a good Week!

This morning I'm ok but we'll see tomorrow. I had all three fo the non-lc foods available at the bbq :(

So until that kicks in I am proud to say I lost 2 pounds last week to put me at 293.

Excellent Noel!

Two pounds a week is a hundred pounds in a year!

I'm happy to have dropped into a new "decade" this week I'm down 3 pounds to 228 (Actually 227.5 is what the scale said, but I usually round up). I stayed true to my diet last week, but really didn't get enough exercise. This week, I'm going to my brother-in-law's wedding (and rehearsal dinner and post wedding brunch etc). So like as not, there'll be some carbs/alcohol consumed. But I also plan to kick the exercise up a notch (Dancing!)

One positive side effect of the wedding is that it forced me to go clothes shopping for the first time in a coon's age. Do you realize that I now easily fit into an XL? This is a far cry from when a XXL was borderline too tight. I can now shop in stores without "Big and Tall" sections!

Between my foray into TJ Maxx and the brother of a friend of mine who hadn't seen me in a while commenting on my weight, it's been a good week!

Way to go Sven. Yes two pounds each week would be lovely. I'm almost back to my low last fall. Just four more to go.

Isn't it so nice when someone else tell us that we look like we've lost weight. Have a great time at your brother-in-laws wedding!

oh sven, that's great! i remember the first time i was able to get an xl instead of xxxl, my old size. (2xl was doable, but too tight to be comfortable.) i was floating on air. xl! me! that was within the "normal" size range to me, and i couldn't remember the last time i'd worn that.

you know, it's been a couple of years now, but i still get a little buzz out of walking past the plus-size racks in the store.

i'm excited for you, and going to the wedding will be great. while there will be some challenging items there, i doubt you'll be too tempted to overindulge a great deal with all those folks noticing how great you look!

and noel, i'm so happy for you as well! i know you had been down about your little "detour," you know? so getting back to where you were has to be a great morale booster. all that really matters is that you come back to where you need to be.

and your new avatar is very cute!
