Default Weekly Weigh-In 9/17-9/23/06

Down a WHOLE half pound his morning. I'll Take it. Better than "nuttin". I'm thinking it was the fact that after 27 days without LC bread or Lc tortillas I gave in and bought a loaf last monday. I think I would have lost at least a pound more if i had not done that. According to fitday i burned a thousand calories more than i ate each day. ah well it might also be bloat fron the hot dogs i had for lunch yesterday. enough whining!

Hope everyone else had a good week weight-wise and otherwise.

Return of the scale!

So our stuff arrived on last wednesday/thursday. Piles and piles of boxes (From living out of suitcases, to living in the midst of boxes - I'll take it) On Friday, my wife found the scale and I waited about 15 minutes before weighing myself - 215! This is roughly 10 puonds down from island arrival weight (way back on July 24)

So after a long weekend of unpacking boxes, setting up tv equipment and computers, playing computer games and watching football, I decide to get back on the normal Tuesday morning scale. Ugh, 216.5. Then I realized that during my long weekend of boxes, computer and tv, there was very little exercise involved. So I went out for a fair trudge, came back and weighed myself again: 213! While I know a lot of that is water weight, it was still a pretty site. I'm going to claim 215 for the week and try and up the exercise this week to get my metabolism rolling in the right direction again. This is a nice decade to be in though. Oh yes. Oh yes indeed.

Way to go Sven! Losing ten pounds on Bermuda with all that good food and black seal rum! I couldn't do it.

I said in my journal that I'm not telling what I got to with my week off...but to give you a hint I lost five pounds the first day back on plan which was yesterday.

Yes, Rob, a half pound is better than nuthin! And tons better than me :o

Rob -

I noticed that too, but I wasn't going to say anything. My guess is that getting down here is only half the challenge (and not necessarily the harder one at that). I'm scared to death of going into maintenance and regaining tons of weight...
