Hi, Rob

I'm still too chicken to get on the scale, I know I've gained back all the lbs. + some. I'll definitely face the truth when we start pure induction again.
I have insomnia again, gotta get through that to face detox.

Rob, all that going to the gym in the wee hours of the morning is sure paying off! Congrats.

Kimberly, I know how you feel. I've been in your position a few times over the last couple years. Not gaining back all the weight but gaining enough over months to make me feel hopeless again. When I was off plan a couple weeks ago I avoided the scale only to be shocked with an 18 pound weight gain in 8 days. Sounds impossible huh? Well, it was there last Sunday and Monday so not just a fluke. Of coure I know it was mostly water with a couple real pounds in there. The problem is that if I'd let it go there would have been more and more real pounds adding besides the water. I hope you feel like losing again soon. We're always here!

Today I'm actually happy to report that I am at 279. Why am I happy that I'm 2 pounds above signature? One, because I was at 295 last Sunday and two, because TOM is here so I am fairly certain that if it wasn't I'd be back to where I was before the 8 days from you know where and back to signature. So I'm striving for another couple pounds off by next Sunday, off signature (277) not the 279 I'm posting with TOM. But if not then there's always the Sunday after.

Cushie you definitely have reason to be happy about that! I'll be glad to get back in the swing of things. The list of how LC benefited DH and I is pretty long and the list of negatives with HC is too. You'd think that would be incentive enough for us to get right back to it. it's just the detox.....ugh!

Hi Kimberly! Hope you get through the detox as quickly as posible. I remember all too well how difficult it was for me for about three days. I kept lying down for naps about 5 times a day for about 2 of those days. But you'll get taht rush of energy once the detox is behind you. Insomnia is something I live with also. Hope you get past yours soon.

Noel - excellent job counteracting that bloat!

Yes, the 1st time we did it, we thought we were going to die!

I'm trying not to rush things or DH, but I'm wanting to get started pretty soon.

Get it started without DH! Since you say you are ready. If you didn't I'd say ok take your time. But why wait. He may drag his feet much longer than you think. Of course then again I don't know your situation. If you stay at home and do all the cooking then it would be harder...I hope he gets a fire in his belly soon. I'd tell you it's easier the second or third time around but I couldn't say it with a straight face.

I was actually down one more pound today. I can't wait for next Sunday's weigh-in.

I told him about the 72' version and that he can still have coffee with cream and he's on board for that. DH is disabled and we can't get out of sinc so it's better for us to have "down" time at the same time and get it over with.
We're getting closer.

I understand. Well then it is best you wait. I missed some things with the first week of the 72 plan but I kept telling myself its only a week. I'm a salsa fool and am glad to be able to add that back in.

Oh and back to signature today, not I'll shut up about it...I promised that on another thread.

Hello everybody,

No movement on the weight front for the last week. I need to up the exercise ante a little, I think. But still. Not losing is better than gaining It's still an interesting concept for me to weigh this little. This is less than I weighed at the end of College...

Hi, Sven
If I weighed as little as you do, I would feel sooo skinny!

Weighing in late but here!!

Today's weight - 235 lbs.

I've been cycling up and down for the past month between 233 and 236 lbs. I have good reasons though - see here for the reasons!

Back on track for three days. If I can do this for 14 days I think I'll truly be back on track!

Kim,

It is a strange feeling. But I still don't feel skinny. I no longer feel fat though, and that's a great feeling. But I still feel all of the flab and my knees still feel a lot of the weight when I walk.

I'm also scared of going back to eating carbs. I know it won't be that long before I'm supposed to, but I don't know whether I'll be able to control myself in "maintenance".
