Yes!! I hated to drink water when I started this wol, and now I can't go without it!! if I haven't gotten enough in during the day I'm parched by evening and nothing else will "hit the spot". I keep a water bottle at my desk and a regular schedule for refills. If it's approaching 11a and the bottles still full, I now it's time to start chugging!! That and I'm then not trying to chug nearly a gallon in the evening!! Hang in there, it will get better!!

I still can't drink all the water I am supposed to. Sometimes when I need a change I use some of the 4C Diet tea. It has splenda in it. Doesn't taste too bad either. I have limited myself to 1 can of diet soda a day if I drink that.

I throw lemon wedges in for a change of pace. But, I like lime even more. Another thing I do is to make what I call "tea water." Just pour a little tea into your water.

After drinking water the majority of the time, when I do have a glass of iced tea or a diet soda, it seems like a real treat!

Yes, it does get easier. I've been doing this since Jan. 1 and if I don't get in my gallon, I just don't feel as good. I do the same as kimjmj and have a regular schedule for refills. Every half hour I drink a glass and by the end of the day, it's gone! I'm finally spending less time running to the bathroom, so apparently my body has finally adjusted.

It does make a huge difference in whether I lose or not, and r

It gets easier.

You still run to the bathroom all the time, but it gets easier.

Should I start exercising on the induction phase? I'm craving water. Is that normal in the beginning stages of inductions? I notice yesterday, I eat considerably more than the first few days. Is that a withdrawl? Everything I ate was exceptable to the plan. On induction, is there anything else you can drink besides water. When does geletain start. Can you have it during induction?

1. Exercise is fine on induction, but not necessary. Many of us didn't start exercising until long after induction was over.

2. Regarding your craving for water: how drastic is it? If it's just that you're a bit more thirsty than you used to be, and now that you're drinking water, it tastes good, then it's okay.

HOWEVER: If it's a SERIOUS, CAN'T GET ENOUGH NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO thirst, you may have a more serious problem. Continuous, extreme thirst is one of many signals of diabetes...and I recommend you see you DOCTOR ASAP. (We're not doctors and can't diagnose for you.)

3. It's normal for your appetite to change during induction. I ate a lot after the first day or two, just learning how to be full without simple carbs. Then, it began to even out.

4. I'd recommend only water during induction...keep it as SIMPLE as possible: water, meat, veggies, dairy.

5. Some folks will eat sugar-free geletains during induction, but I personally recommend waiting.

Cheers,
Emelia

Thanks to all that replied, it is getting easier, tho I still have some days that I just don't want any more water, I am working on making sure that I drink more in the am than the pm, I do water with lemon when I go out and put a little sweet and low in it so I feel like I am drinking lemonade....
