Default new year still over 100 lbs to lose

I am writing here to encourage others that have a large amount of weight to get on board and lets help each other...

My birthday is on sunday and on monday I am getting on track and starting my new life, that's right my new life....

Not sure where it is going to take me, but I am looking forward to new clothes, feeling thin and being thin.

see you back here in about a week.

Talking Re: new year still over 100 lbs to lose

hey carolyn! good to see you back 'round these parts.

you know, this forum in particular is kind of "sentimental" to me, if you can be sentimental about a forum. the first time i came to lce and looked at the forums, having a special place for folks looking to lose 100+ is what made me feel like i belonged here.

it's good to feel like folks understand...

happy (belated) birthday and good wishes on the journey, ma'am.

did water aerobics this morning.

Yesterday was a really weird eating day for me, Carolyn. I had the day off, and I didn't bother to put in my teeth (full bottom dentures, partial top). So, I just didn't eat anything that required much chewing, and I was surprisingly not hungry. Had lots of coffee, though. Some leftover lc pancakes, a big protein shake, and jello with whipped cream & with a bit of cream cheese. That's it.

It's a long, long journey, but with persistence, I think we can both make it.

had one of those days yesterday, got home and wasn't hungry, so I decided to not eat till I really felt like I was .... hense I just ate a couple of slices of some ham I had in the fridge.... I cleaned the kitchen, (it needed it) and swept the floor, might wash it tonite if I have any energy.
today has been good...eggs (2 hard boiled) and some ham for breakfast
Soup (veggie - home made) and some chicken for lunch
not sure what I will have for dinner...
but feeling good.

howdy summer, been a while since I have seen you posting, I was here but I wasn't being strong and was eating lots of stuff I shouldn't, But I decided, I am not getting any younger and I am tired of carrying this weight - in all my years of being overweight, I finally feel it....so I guess the best thing to do is to get rid of it....
I am on day 4 of my new life, and feeling better every day - tho my sinus are being very runny at this moment... cedar fever hit central texas last week with a vengence.

I got to 20 carbs yesterday, and wasn't hungry....feel like I am not eating much, but my appitite isn't there cause of this gunk in my nose....

I am sure that after this clears up I will want to eat everything in site....
we can do this, we have done this in the past and we are here for everyone that needs help.

Ooh, old gunky nose! It sure can ruin an appetite!

Carolyn, one day it's gonna hit you - you'll wake up and say "I feel so much better!" Even if you haven't lost 100 lbs, it might be just 10 lbs away, but it'll happen, and you'll feel so good about it. Really, it'll happen.

Today is day five, and slowly my nose is getting better, not as bad as in the beginning of the week, but still runny...
made it thru yesterday, today so far, havn't gone back to the kitchen at work (boxes of donuts I don't want to see)

tomorrow I will weigh myself and see exactly where I am.. need to put batteries in the new scale I have (one that avon sells that tells you if you are hydrated enough? not sure how it works...)
anyway,
onward.
