| I went into my local Fashion Bug the other day. Hubby is taking me away for my anniversary in December and I was looking for a top. I found one I liked and tried it on (30)Looked in the mirror and it looked kind of big so I tried on a smaller size. Still looked a little big. So tried on a 22-24 and IT FIT ! Suprised me so much I bought it and told hubby I had to cause it fit. ![]() started 7/26/2003 one day at a time...one pound at a time 337/310/200 |

CONGRATS, GIRL! Doesn't it feel good to get into smaller clothes? I just love it. I can't wait until I get down another size. I've only went down one size so far, but I can tell the size I'm in now is getting loosey goosey so its right around the corner. You may not want to take the tags off of that top cause by December you may be a size or two smaller! | Hurrah! I've now dropped 6 full sizes...so let me offer a bit of advice: 1. DO buy new clothes every time you REALLY get into a new size. You may think you look okay, but you will actually look (and feel) thinner when wearing clothes that don't fall off you. 2. Except for the ONE item of clothing that best represents your highest weight (for me it's a pair of jeans), get rid of EVERYTHING THAT IS TOO BIG! It's a great motivation thing. 3. Work the consignment shop angle. I have had to buy a whole new set of clothes every season for work, and consignment shops have helped me save a LOT of money. 4. Don't worry about high quality in these interim sizes; you won't be wearing the clothes for more than a season. Save the big buys for goal! | I wish I had kept something representing the largest size. I had kept clothes from my smaller sizes. Today I'm sitting here in the last "reference" pair of jeans that I had in the closet. They are comfortably large. It will be too cool when I finally get to goal and buy jeans even smaller. Judy 180/142.5/138 "How long does getting thin take?" Winnie the Pooh,Winnie the Pooh by A. A.
