Recently, I've found a few items at Walmart that I thought others might be interested in.

CARB COUNTDOWN milk - 1/2 gallon $2.50
3 carbs per 8 oz serving
35% of the RDA of calcium per serving
AVAILABLE IN: chocolate, whole, 2% and fat free (all are 3g carb per serving)
I have not had any yet but my co-worker drove straight to the store to get some and reported back that the chocolate tasted just like any other chocolate milk - GOOD!

Chef's Choice frozen meals - for those times when you just don't have the time or energy to prepare a meal.

I've seen the milk in our Walmart, haven't tried it, not much of a milk drinker so I'm afraid it would go to waste. I've been lobbying for them to carry the Chef's Choice dinners, no luck yet To get them I have to drive well over 1 hour! Not something I want to do often.

I have noticed that some of the Chef's choice dinner mixes aren't totally low carb... be careful... the low carb bowls are, but they also have other dinner mixes in frozen food that some have pasta in them, some have pretty high carb counts.... so make sure you are checking... when I first saw them I thought what a great idea, but after reading the carb counts, thought they were too high.

I have found the Chef's Choice at Wal-mart...Mine has many varieties and the ones I have eaten are very good. Worth the search.
