I was wondering everyone...where do you all get the CUTE smileys and stuff when you post?? I know this is WAY off topic?? but some of the stuff I see is SOOOOOO cute and would like to add more to my posts????

There should be a smiley face icon just above the message section when you click on Post a Reply. Click on Smiley there and you'll see a bunch of 'em.

Thank you Jenn...I know about those few...but some of the Veterans have the cutest smileys and such in there posts?? wondered where they got them from and how they put them into there post??

I guess my answer was a blinding glimpse fo the obvious! (hee, hee) I've always wanted to know where to find other smileys, too, buy never thought to ask (I am having a brain dead Monday, here.)

If you right click on the smiley, and then properties, you'll see where it came from.

There are a lot of websites that have free smileys. I'm even getting spam that promotes some free smiley sites.

If you do a google search, you'll likely find a lot of good links for smileys.

After you've copied and saved the smiley, you can upload it to a webserver* using an FTP program (FTP=file transfer protocol). Note the URL for where you uploaded the file. Then, whenever you are writing a LCE message and want to put one of your smileys in the post, click the image icon on the Message Tool Bar (second from the right) and enter the URL where you stored the image.

*Most ISPs provide at least 2 mg webspace with each account. The customer service at your ISP should be able to tell you how to access and store files in your space. You can get any number of low cost or free FTP-type programs for moving files to the server. www.tucows.com is a good place to get that kind of freeware and shareware.
