I don't know if anyone else experiences this, but it's weird... when I was on LC(before I fell off the wagon) the pounds and the inches were falling off... then I fell off the wagon and went back to that 200 carb/day life and still wasn't gaining anything back. I just dont get it... can anyone explain?

All I can say is "you are one lucky woman MeganRose!" I can go off this woe and gain a solid 10 pounds in a week. I don't dare do it. I guess your metabolism is way up there where mine is dead as a doornail! Anyway, glad that you are back and rolling right along with us on this preverbial wagon! Good luck to you! Anita

You're just like me, IronSquirrel...my weight went rapidly down on this woe, and when I stopped for a year, I was able to maintain that weight...and I was eating hamburger and fries every night for dinner! The fast food kind, that is...of course, I was working out at the gym, too, so I had that mentality that I could work out and eat whatever I wanted and maintain - which was true - but I still had 49 lbs to go when that happened. So I decided it was time to get serious and returned to this woe...however, one diet does not fit everyone. My husband and I did the lc woe for awhile, but then my husband and I discussed it and decided that we should just really watch our portions more than anything...so we started doing that. I was afraid to eat at first but finally got comfortable with it. I put on a couple of pounds at first but then again, I wasn't exercising the way I use to (and no matter what woe or wol you are following, exercise should be non-negotible) so I started doing that again and was able to drop those couple of pounds and then some. But I'm happier this way, too. I know some of my co-workers were telling me today that as soon as they got off the lc woe, they gained all their weight right back. So I guess you and I are two of the fortunate ones. I think with any woe or wol, portion control matters. What's that saying? Everything in moderation - especially moderation.

Well, good luck to you, and I wish you the best as you continue on your woe and wol.
