| I get confused when I read labels. So far what I do is subtract fiber from the carb count. Haven't bought anything that said "effective" carbs just because I feel like I might be being mislead. Anyone care to explain or direct me to an explanation Thanks Renee |

| Basically, you are right. Subtracting the fiber from carbs in net carbs. As far as sugar alcohols go, do the same subtraction. But as always, becareful because they may impact your blood sugar in a bad way!!
