I have at lest 50 pieces of clothing laying on my closet floor now--all of which are too big--anyone else have this issue? I am going to set up a table at my daughter's school's rummage sale with my clothes and my daughter's toys and a few kitchen items that we don't use anymore. Like toddler plates and spoons and forks and cups an spoons--she is 8, no need anymore. But I was shocked at how much clothing no longer fits and how huge it looks beside my current tops and pants--even though it is only two sizes. My dress clothes are too big too--I have a denim jumper I am going to try to get refitted--it is aline and needs shortened too so that will be a good time to get it done--hopefully I can get rid of at least part of the clothes I can no longer wear. I know the kids toys will sell, they are almost new most of them--she isn't hard on toys and a bunch of them she has only played with a time or two. She gets those procedes to spend while I get the rest--probably won't have much left over. . .for me that is! Anyway, I am excited over the prospect of having room in my closet. . .and fitting into my "new" wardrobe. I tried on misses 18 jeans today--can almost comfortably button them--in a couple of weeks they will fit and I will have a few more pants ready for the chuck it heap!!! Anyone near Fayetteville needing size 22 or 20 clothing is welcome Saturday to College Lakes Elementary School to pick through my old stuff!!! The rest will go to good will except maybe the formal dresses. . .will probably try to sell them one only worn once, one twice--one is royal blue with a jacket, the other is a black and hot pink pinstirpe with a jacket, pants, skirt and a top. both cost me over 100 and I need to get an easter dress that fits! I don't think black is the right color for Easter--I have my Christmas Dress and it still fits! May hang it out too and if it goes--great--It won't fit by next fall! I have my dd's room to go through this afternoon--purge the toys then we will put the stuff she still plays with back! Wish me luck!

What a great problem!! I have bags and bags sitting in my closet...most everything is 4 sizes too big. Actually if it is only 2 sizes too big it is still hanging...if I didn't keep them, I would have 2 pairs of pants, and 2 shirts I have got to find a garage sale

Thank goodness yard sale season is almost here. I have been loaning my "too big" stuff to a friend who is also losing but is still a couple of sizes above me. When I get those back I will be having another "hugh" yard sale. Also, I planning on hitting a few myself to find some smaller summer clothes. I did visit a Goodwill store this weekend and picked up several cotton button up shirts - mostly size Large! What a good feeling. Now if I can just find a couple pair of shorts....

you might even consider selling your "too big" clothes on ebay or a similar auction site.
people sometimes sell entire "lots" of clothes that are the same size ...
just an idea.

I am having a yard sale Saturday! Glad to earn a few dollars with them and have them out of my house for good! Ontop of that, I do want to buy a couple of new spring things and a dress for Easter. I don't want to touch the savings for the new wardrobe when I get to goal.

YES!!!! My shoes are all too big! When I started I was wearing a 9. I bought 8's in December, and gave away all the 9's. Now the 8's are getting big!

I have incredible shrinking feet!
