Default Weigh-In April 25 - May 1, 2004

No loss to report this week but I didn't expect any. I have added some aspects of the fat flush plan that were more designed for detox than weight loss. As a result I increased my carb level by about 10 a day. But I already feel better physically so I'm not complaining. Hope everyone else had a good loss week.

I'm glad your feeling good Rob!

Well I have avoided the weigh in topic for the last few weeks because I have been off and on plan everyother day. I got back on this week, however, and lost four of the six pounds I gained back.

I hope everyone else is doing well.

Hi fellow trackers,

Last week I was upset because I was up and down, but this week I am better. I believe I was 248/247 last week and yesterday a solid 245. I am slipping at fitday....I have for a few weeks. I am slipping at exercising.......I am out walking more and playing with Larry's kids, but no formal workouts.

However, I am still solid in my eating habits. I picture my weight loss like a solid bar number line in my head.....kind of like the gas register in the car......I needed to lose 169 pounds when I started....so that was the end point....and every pound I lose....this red line is moving closer to that point.....now my red bar is almost one/third of the way there. I have lost 54 pounds with 115 to go. I need this visual. I close my eyes and think about it a few times a day, especially when I want a piece of garlic bread. Smiles........

Well, now that you know how weird I am.....Have a great rest of the weekend!!!

I haven't checked in for some time. When I hurt my back in early January, I basically had to limit my carbs back to about 25 a day because I couldn't really do anything. It was all bed rest.

I got cleared on the 16th of this month to go back to more regular exercise.

During that time off, my weight fluctuated between 262 and 256. Last week, after some increased walking and some bike riding, I was back to 254. This morning, after another week of increased exercise and yard work, I'm at 251.5. That puts me at a little over 85 lbs in about 11 months.

My store is set to open on May 27, and I'm going to try real hard to be at 237 by that time. That will be within 4 days of my first low-carb anniversary, and what better way to celebrate my losing 100lbs than to open my store at the same time! Go me!

I am down 2.75 inches for the last two week and only 1 lb. Sine I started logging at mybodycomp.com however I have changed my body composition drastically. I still have about 60 lbs to lose but my body fat percentage has changed by 13%. I have gone from 43% to 30%. I am toning up nicely and building muscle as I lose the fat so I look better even though I still have a long ways to go.

3 lb loss this week, I'm beaming. Yesterday I stepped on the scale just to peek and last night I had 3 lc beers (the first alcohol since I started a month ago) I wasn't sure if the loss would still show today but it did. I know I'm doing great because I have the mindset when I look at foods I used to eat and say "it's a choice", I know I don't want those carb laden foods to stop my losing. Onward to week 5 of this WOE!

Keep doing well all.....it's a great feeling.

:jumpgreen Well after almost a month of tweeking my food/water/ etc. I dropped 2 lbs, count them 2.... that makes it 49 lbs gone....yeah It really does help to write it down, and drink that water.... I made a real concerted effort for the last two weeks to get in at least 1 gallon of water every day.... and it really does help.

Well I'm pretty stagnant this week... popping between 219 and 222 on the scale throughout the week. I'd like to claim the 219, but I only saw it for two days.. and since it's that TOM, it's hard to really tell. I figure I'll get a formal weigh in after it's over. ALthough I was retaining alot of water, my measurements went down this week, so a bit of success :jump:

Good job staying on track everybody!
I am in my 7th week of low-carbing (1st timer) and just weighed for the first time since I started. I was shocked to see that I have lost 26 lbs so far! Down from 281 to 255! Obviously a lot of that was in the initial couple of weeks, and it won't go nearly so quickly from here on out, but I am really encouraged all the same.
Let's make today a really good day!
