I got up a little early and prepped 2 bunches of celery, then made some Ranch dip to go with it. So, I ate on that quite a bit today. Tonight, I had a green salad with dinner.

Lori, I got some great strawberries at the WalMart grocery store Sunday. They were huge and ripe and wonderful. I was searching for a dessert for our guest and then it hit me: strawberry shortcake! I had purchased some Little Debbie pound cakes for my husband, the carb addict. So, I sliced one up and layered it with sliced strawberries (with a few drops of liquid Splenda) and cream I made with liquid heavy cream and liquid Splenda. (I forgot to add any vanilla!)

DD and I each had one, too....only without the cake. I never missed it. Yummers!

Friday...salad 3C at lunch, 1/2 cucumber, strawberries w/whipped cream, sezchuan style veggies (broccoli, water chestnuts and seasonings...DH ate the peppers and snow peas)...
Saturday...not so good...1C mixed veggies, strawberries w/whipped cream

I haven't been to the store yet, so we are sorely lacking in fresh veggies. I had some asparagus last night, but only some tomatoes and onion in chili so far today! Not good!

grapefruit, 12 whole strawberries, hmmmm...not so good today...looks like 3 and all are fruits!

We were out-of-town all day yesterday so it wasn't such a great day. I decided to start this one out better, though. I opened a can of spinach and had some with eggs for breakfast. Lunch was shrimp, spinach, and alfredo sauce. Yum.

It sure is nice to be on Spring break and be able to cook all my meals (when we're home). I'm going to Kroger soon and will be loading up on fresh veggies and a few fruits. Thankfully, strawberries are back in season! Right, Lori?

5C lettuce, cucumber slices, radish, shredded carrot, strawberries, corna nd black bean fiesta mix on top one of the salads for dinner...it was very good!

Yesterday, had big salad for lunch, at least 3 servings there. And broccoli and cauliflower for dinner. Got 5 in!

It's so much harder to get them in when you are away from home. While in 'Vegas last week, I don't think I got 5 in for the whole week!

Today: broccoli and Cauliflower with lunch, Mashed fauxtatoes, broccoli and string beans for dinner tonight.

I forgot the strawberries! Darn! I did get some cauli and made some cauli-salad tonight. I had some celery earlier today, and a small apple. With my second helping of cauli salad, I believe I got my 5 in today, for a change.

I went by Kroger this afternoon and got me some strawberries! I had a small apple earlier today, some strawberries in my yogurt, and a little lettuce on my bunless chicken filet. Then, a salad with dinner. So, not my best day, F&V-wise.

We are having a garage sale tomorrow. I'm gonna fix us a bowl of veggies and one of strawberries to snack on.

Lori, Noel, Lauri.....anyone else here?

I ate celery, radishes, and strawberries during the garage sale (when I had a chance!) and I stopped at Long John Silver's for dinner and got a salad. Either it was good or I was hungry! Maybe both. I'm sure I got my 5-a-day in!

Today, I had some eggs, scrambled up with spinach and topped with cheese. Yum. I had a salad at lunch, a can of asparagus (3+ servings) at dinner, and some plain strawberries for "dessert". I had more like 7-8 servings today!
I know, I know! The extra servings don't "roll over" to tomorrow!

Monday: spinach in my eggs, veggies for snack (celery and radishes), and a McD side salad at dinner. Maybe 4-5.

Today:slaw and green beans at lunch, salad at dinner tonight. About 4.
