Default Daily Check-In: March

Wow, February is already gone...short month so it flew by.

Here is where we come to check in and be accountable for getting those 5-a-day in of our veggies and fruits.

It may help you to be accountable for getting the veggies and fruits we all need. Even if you don't it's nice to have a place to talk about it!

Had a big cobb salad for supper and a large cucumber for lunch...could have done a little better. I estimate I got in four servings of veggies today.

I had some radishes at lunch, and some spinach in my "casserole" I made for dinner. I gotta get re-focused on this! I haven't done so good lately. I have a head of cauli in the fridge, along with celery and a bag of salad, so no excuses!

I know how you feel Maxi...I always have a ton of veggies around and sometimes don't get enough in. Today that wasn't the case though. I had a half cup of broccoli with my eggs for breakfast this morning. I had a veggie soup with a cup and a half of veggies for lunch. And for supper two servings of brussel sprouts.

Only got in three servings today. For shame. I should have had more for supper but didn't eat much at all.

Two cups lettuce with some grape tomatoes for lunch and one serving of brussell sprouts for supper.

Yesterday had all my servings in the evening. One cup lettuce salad and two cups cooked broccoli. So that's five servings.

In case you are new to this thread 1/2 cup cokked veggies is a serving as is one cup salad greens. I can't remember what the fruit numbers are.

Here is the link for the serving sizes.

OK I may be the only one posting my fruits and veggies here but that's ok I can be a force of one. It holds me accountable.

Today I had my five servings. 1/2 cup broccoli and 1/3 cup grape tomatoes in an omlette for breakfast. 1 cup sliced carrots for late lunch. 2 cups lettuce salad for supper.

Hey, Noel! I'm still here. (just not consistently!) I had a salad today. Period. I just cannot seem to be able to get my %#&@ together!

We had sausage & cheese omelets this morning with salsa, later I had a yogurt, then the salad. Tonight we went to a "practice opening" of a new Mexican food restaurant with our neighbors. I didn't know there was a limited menu....so it was either eat off plan or don't eat at all. Darn! And I was so good today otherwise!

Gotta do better tomorrow!

Glad to see you here with me, Maxibee, I knew you were out there.

I was so hungry today. I ate a lot of veggies...not a variety but a lot of the ones I ate. 2 1/2 cups of broccoli with cheese part with 1/4 cup onions and 7 large celery stalks.

I've been salcking in the posting. I have been really slacking in the veggies. Today I did manage to get in three servings of brussel sprouts but that was it so I will try some celery later I think to get in more.
