Breakfast was Maggie's cereal with strawberries. Lunch was salmon croquettes and cloe slaw. Dinner will be a large taco salad with lettuce, grape tomatoes, green onions, and jalepenos.

Yesterday had big salad for lunch then green beans with tomatoes for supper and finished off with raw cauliflower and broccoli for a snack. I'm guessing five servings in all, maybe a little bit more.

Today for breakfast I finished the last of the strawberries on l/c pancakes w/whipped cream. Lunch was salmon croquettes and a couple of servings of cole slaw. Dinner will be grilled pork and a large spinach salad with bean sprouts, green onion, bacon, and hb egg.

Yesterday was a disaster, but today was better: I did only liquid nourishment until dinner. I had a salad and a pickle...not fruit today. I have some radishes at work, and a couple of small apples, so I'll be back on track soon.

Been right on track with fruits and veggies. Its cold here now - so plenty of veggie soups and curries. Strawberries are in season too. Have taken a real liking to eggplants in curries. Haven't been having any lettuce either - they are just too awful after even 1 day in the fridge - I just cannot bring myself to eat them like that - so I've been using very young tender chard mixed with basil, parsley, coriander and sometimes mint.

Breakfast was an cheddar and grilled pork omelet with about 3 servings of spinach and 1/2 an onion in it as I cleaned out the refrigerator. Lunch was salmon croquettes and 2 servings of cole slaw. Dinner will be on the road, probably at a Ruby Tuesdays so a salad bar and fauxtatoes will be on the menu.

O wow - is Ruby Tuesday's a food outlet there? I love Ruby Tuesday's clothes and accessories here - I didn't realise they were a food outlet!

I only managed some radishes and a small apple today. Not good. But the weekend is here and it's time to clean up the entire routine. More later!

Saturday:
2 strawberries with breakfast, grilled chicken salad for lunch, green beans and slaw (a source of hidden sugar???) with dinner (grilled tilapia), and a plum. Had a good day for f's & v's....so how did I manage to gain a pound?

Have got a couple of delicious organic pawpaws that my friend brought me over with the big box of organic fruits and veg last week. Cut one yesterday and its soooo good. Had it in my breakfast shake - although I don't have the protein powder in my shake now - the only one I could buy here is LOADED with sodium and sugars. Anyhow - I get loads of protein - so that's OK. Also had strawbs with natural lowfat yoggie for dessert. Lunch was big salad with heaps of halves and quarter serves of lots of veggies and dinner was small amount of lentils with veggie stew and it was yummmyyyyy!

Had some watermelon with breakfast, a plum for snack, some cauli salad at lunch/dinner, then a strawberry and some cherries. I think I need to keep my "fruits and veggies" more on the veggie side.

Side note: DD and I made DH a cake (Betty Crocker, are you kidding?) for Father's Day. I did not touch a singel morsel of that cake. I let myself be tortured as I put the frosting on. I washed it off my hands instead of licking it. Then I mixed up some l/c "fudge" for myself since I was so good. I probably sampled a bit too much of that, but it's a darn sight better than having cake. Plus, I put ground flaxseed in it and washed it down with 30 oz. of water.

Also, I prepped other veggies when I got the cauli ready to steam. I have a bag of radishes and celery ready to go with me to work tomorrow.

Got back from St.Louis this afternoon except for yesterday, I managed to get my 5 servings a day. Today, breakfast was Maggie's cereal with dried cranberries. Lunch was ham and pepper jack cheese lettuce wraps. Dinner will be dijon pork chops w/onions, fauxtatoes, and a couple of servings of broccoli.

hdyhouse-good job keeping up the 5 even out of town!

I had celery and radishes and strawberries and cherries and cauli salad yesterday. Probably 5.

Today I had pretty much the same, except for some broccoli and cheese in addition. (With some excellent BBQ pork ribs!)
