OK Maxibee. I was going to join you from the get go. But I haven't been good this week. I'm going to have to use the "been sick don't want to eat darn veggies" excuse. That one is getting old.

I have been good about eating big salads for the past couple days. So starting now I'm back in the club. I am having green beans for lunch. I'll be stuffing myself with more veggies tonight as well.

Hey, it's great to have company in this challenge!

Today, I had a small salad at lunch, an apple for snack, and another (bigger, better) salad at dinner. Not quite 5 today.

OK I didn't do so well with veggies tonight. But I did get to the store and buy lots of lettuce so I have salad stuff and avocados for the entire weekend without running out.

We went out for Mexican food, so I had guacamole and lettuce with just the fajita meat. And another similar salad tonight. No other fruits or veggies. I did go grocery shopping and I now have 2 bags of salad, 2 bunches of radishes, 2 (bunches?) of celery, 2 pounds of strawberries, a bag of small apples, and 2 heads of cauli. (I've been running out of f's & v's in the middle of the week.) I won't prep it all right now, I'll just do some more mid-week.

How's it going, everyone?

I keep forgetting to come by here! But I HAVE been doing pretty well in the fruits/veggies department this past week.

Today I'm falling a bit short I'm afraid - had green chiles in my scrambled eggs and carnitas, plus some salsa on top - maybe a serving between the two. Then we ate at 2 pm for Mother's Day, I did make a nice broccoli casserole. I guess I'd better get some strawberries or blueberries or a small Red Delicious apple into me later!

I see that I have skipped Friday through the weekend! Yikes...and I'm the one who's supposed to keep us bumped up here!

Today I had some baby carrots because they were the only veggies I had prepared. And a small apple. Then a salad tonight. No way was it 5, but alot better than I used to be!

a bit better today I had cauli, green beans, broccolli and carrot but unfortunatly
all at the same meal. It is pretty hard it seems to make sure you are getting 5 a day. I think I need to reiscover fruit( she says again)

For a snack, I had some baby carrots and dip, I had some green beans at lunch, along with a small apple. Tonight I had some sliced strawberries in a ricotta/cream mixture. If that isn't 5, it's darned close. I'm getting better at this!

I have been REALLY lacking in veggies...and I have a fridge full of them! So I am renewing my quest for five-a-day today! Starting with a big salad for lunch.

Veggies (radishes and carrots) for snack, a small apple at lunch, big salad with dinner. I think that comes to 4.5 servings. Close enough!

Geesh - haven't checked in in awhile! Today, I've had strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and black berries. I was in a berry mood - can you tell? Let's see if I can get some veggies in me. Thinking about broccoli for lunch.

Ok, last night did end up having broccoli, and a few carrots. So that means I made my 5 servings! Today so far, only strawberries; but its early yet.

I've been doing much better with my veggies, although I still forget to come here and brag about it!

Today I had salad for lunch, and my Camarones en Salsa Roja also had mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower and a few sliced carrots.

Tonight I made chicken sandwiches which also had avocado and roasted red bell peppers on them, along with a few jalapeno slices; and we had SF bread & butter pickles on the side.

I just gotta get into the habit of coming in here to post so I don't FORGET to keep an eye on the veggie intake!

I know, Char! This thread is a great reminder.

Today I had some raw veggies for snack. Some green beans at lunch. Dinner included some more green beans and some broccoli/cauli salad. If I had remembered my apple this morning, I'd be at 5 now!
