| Today, I've had some steamed cauli, 2 servings. So far. I went back by the grocery store, a different one this time and I got some strawberries that look alot better than the ones I've got. Also, more semi-non-diary Cool Whip. You know how kids are. If I have time, I'll check back in later.

| We got back about midnight, so with an empty refrigerator until I could get to the grocery stores this afternoon, it was a make do day. Breakfast was Maggie's cereal w/dried cranberries. Lunch was a reprise of breakfast. Dinner was a shrimp cocktail w/sauce amercaine (my version), lettuce salad w/grape tomatoes, cucumber, green onion, and stuffed olives, grilled pork steak, asparagus and zucchini carbonara.

| Hey, Henry. Heather and I kept the light on for ya here. How was your trip? I ate weird today. Very snacky with only one actual meal. Sunflower kernels and green tea, a s/f popsicle, an apple, a small bowl of steamed cauli and green tea, boiled shrimp and cauli salad with water, a s/f popsicle, sunflower seeds, water, l/c pb & s/f jelly. More water. How weird is that? I've been distracted today. I'll get my Adderall filled tomorrow and start taking 2/day again. One per day doesn't quite cut it. Gosh, did I even get my 5 today? No, I'd say 3 1/2 to 4. Oh, well.

| Thanks for keeping the light on Maxi. The trip was sort of great. I started with a 4 day meeting in "Palm Beach". I put Palm Beach in quotes because the Hotel calls itself the Ritz Carleton Palm Beach, eventhough it is located 8-9 miles south of Palm Beach in Manapalan, FL. Hurricane Wilma damage was still much in evidence throughout Southern FL. Power was spotty in surrounding areas, but our hotel had power. After the meeting, I spent a couple of days playing golf before we left on a Caribbean cruise. Our ship was the first one back into the port of Couzemal after it was devastated by Wilma. Most of the island was still closed, a lot of bussinesses were still repairing but many were open. The people were real glad to have tourists back since their economy depends so heavily on tourism. When you see the damage those storms do, it sort of puts everything in perspective. Breakfast was Maggie's cereal w/dried cranberries. Lunch was a lettuce salad w/grape tomatoes, cucumber, green onions, and stuffed olives and some italian seasoned ground turkey w/onion & celery in marinara sauce. Dinner was a reprise of the lettuce salad from lunch and shrimp primavera w/onion and broccoli in a white wine-cheese sauce over Dreamfields linguini.

| Well, Henry....sorry your trip wasn't all that it could've been. But it's still good to get away once in a while, isn't it? I had a small pear, an apple, and a salad. I forgot I had some leftover cauli salad in the fridge. I packed some for lunch tomorrow. Maybe I'll get 5 again soon.

| Breakfast was an omelet with onion, a couple servings of celery, jalepenos, meat and cheese. It's a good thing I had at least 3 servings of vegetables then because I missed lunch with various meetings. Dinner was grilled pork, zucchini carbonara, and asparagus.

| Since I was going to be cooking most of the day, and we would be having an early dinner, I decided that I would only have 2 meals today. So, after I got the Decadent Pecan Pie in the oven and the turkey broth simmering, at 10:00 am, I fixed an omelet with 3 servings of celery and onions, jalepenos, meat and cheese. Dinner was turkey and gravy with stuffing, cranberry compote, broccoli, a relish plate with a deviled egg, green onions, grape tomatoes, and ripe and stuffed olives and a piece of pecan pie for desert. On a side note, I was pleased with the stuffing. I found out yesterday that I could not get the good low carb bread I was planning on using with my Atkins corn bread for my stuffing. However, I decided to substitute lightly crushed pork rinds for the bread and the results were execellent.

| Way to go, Henry! I don't think nary a fruit or veggie passed my lips yesterday....let me think....oh, yeah: I had a small apple for breakfast. I stayed with lowcarb food, but snicky-snacky....I was so busy. Today, my entire intake was: green tea Turkey, ham, mashed cauli w/gravy, green beans simmered in bacon peices, ONE roll with HeartSmart "butter", broccoli salad, 3 deviled egg halves, a peice of my lc/nd (lowcarb, nondairy) pecan pie, and some fruit salad. (I forgot the Cool Whip and never missed it!) I got a little hungry earlier and had another peice of pie, since I am too lazy to drag out the leftovers....at least until I go to pack my lunch for tomorrow. I got my 5 today. I refuse to apologize or freak out about the roll. It's one roll. No biggie.....bread's not my big weakness.
