Papaya, strawberries, celery, carrot, zucs, pumpkin, mushrooms, tomatoes, herbs. But not all of those are full servings - so it works out OK.

Kim-losts of mornings I'll open a can and take half to work and put the other half in my dog's timer bowl for her lunch. I don't mind eating them cold, and she doesn't either.

The vet says it's a good way for indoor animals to get the chorophyll they need. (Seen the cat food called "Indoor Formula"?) She loves them and I'm hoping they'll help her drop some weight. The vet wants her down 5-6 pounds. DH and DD confessed to giving her snacks and table scraps and overfeeding her. So, I had to scream and call a halt to all that! That dog will eat anything that doesn't eat her first and she has had her ACL's replaced in BOTH knees, so she doesn't need any extra weight.

I found out DD was sharing Cheetos with her and DH was giving her about twice the food at mealtimes that I do. She'll be 9 years old in a few days and she only goes out to bark at varmints or pee/potty. She could probably get by on 500 calories a day!

If I come home hungry later after the Dr.Phil meeting, I may have a few to keep my tummy from growling before I go to bed.

well, I have been doing erally well with my veggies lately. yesterday I was boring but I did manage to get in five servings, of the same thing but five nonetheless. I had a whole bag of brussel sprouts, there are five servings in the bag, I also had a few too many onions and about a cup of green beans. today I had a big lettuce salad and about two cups of cooked broccoli. I can't remember everything I had on the days prior but I did eat a lot of raw broccoli and other veggies.

I split a can of green beans with the dog, but didn't eat mine today. LOL!

I split up the breakfast I bought and had it for lunch, too. So no veggies there. I had celery and carrots for snack, a big green salad with my grilled salmon (YUM!) for dinner, then DD and I had fresh, ripe Driscoll strawberries for "dessert". It may not have been a full five, but darn close, depending on how all this is counted (serving sizes).
I have leftover salmon for tomorrow, so I'll have the green beans with that. There were 2 big strawberries left over, so I packed them up to take w/me, too. The key for me is being prepared, so I'm not trying to cram 5 servings in after I get home from work!

Hey - yep - that works for me too Maxibee - I REALLY need to be prepared - if I stay playing around on my computer too close to my meals - I really suffer for it. I need to plan my menus - and then I'm fine.

Today I had a big lettuce salad for lunch and just got done with about a cup of french cut green beans, I've got another cup cooked so that when I get the hankerin' for a snack tonight I'll have them. So according to the FDA guidelines I am currently at 4 servings and will reach 6 by the end of the day.

Sounds good Noel!

I've had tomatoes, green peppers, broccoli, cucumbers, and bing cherries today. Don't know what's for dinner yet...

Papaya, strawberries were the fruits and I made cauliflower and carrot soup for lunch, dinner was stirfried tofu with bean shoots, onion, capsicum, broccoli, garlic and ginger. DH is insisting on this WOE for himself too - personally, I don't think he needs to loose the weight - but he thinks it healthier for him anyhow. Anyway - it does make it easier on the cook!
