Friday's Breakfast was an Italian sausage omelet w/onion and celery. Lunch was assorted veggie crudite and a piece of Nacho Ordinary Strata. Dinner will be a Chef's salad.
The refrigerator is pretty well cleaned out now. I have my deviled egg roll w/turkey pastrami and cheese already made and ready for tomorrow morning's grab-n-go breakfast before our 0-dark thirty departure to begin an 11 hour leg of a road trip plus a stop for shopping on the way as I start an 11 day vacation. I will be back on September 9th.

I got back late this afternoon. Managed to stay "on plan" for the trip. Today was a travel day. I had some cantaloupe for an early breakfast before leaving the hotel in Indianapolis. Had a late "breakfast" in Illinois when we stopped at a McDonalds. Had a lot of trouble explaining to the sr. citizen behind the counter that I wanted 2 sausage & egg McMuffins w/o the muffins. She still got it wrong, but the manager straightened it out. I guess l/c has not made it to rural Illinois. In any event, I was not hungry until I made a quick dinner at home, after a hurried grocery shopping trip to get some necessary items as the refrigerator was pretty well cleaned out. Dinner was a lettuce salad and a piece of Dreamfield's spaghetti pie. (The chef also sucked down a Budwiser Select for a little liquid analgesic while fixing dinner.)

Wednesday's Breakfast was Maggie's cereal w/strawberries. For lunch the office had a "pot luck" BBQ. My team brought the meat, so to make sure I had something else to eat, I also brought a couple of side dishes for me of a lettuce salad, a couple of deviled eggs, and some watermelon to accompany the ubiquitous hamburger patty.
Dinner - Lettuce salad and a piece of Dreamfield's spaghetti pie.

Saturday's Breakfast was bifurcated with a little watermelon as I headsd out the door for my early morning tee time clutching my deviled egg roll w/ham & cheese to have at the turn.
Lunch was a lettuce wrapped grilled cheeseburger patty, a couple of slices of tomato and deviled eggs. Dinner was at a Wedding reception where I had a couple of glasses of white zinfindel while waiting for the buffet to open. I then made a nice lettuce salad and had some steamed veggies and grilled chicken strips.
