Today I had a salad with a small avacado sliced on top at lunch. I had a black plum afterward. Dinner included a can of green beans (3 1/2 servings). I think I got 5 in today for the first time in days!

Breakfast was an omelet w/onion, celery, jalepenos, pork sausage & cheese. Lunch was an after-golf after thought of celery stuffed with tuna salad while I fixed dinner. Dinner was crab legs, shirataki in a l/c Welsh Rarebit cheese sauce, and snow peas w/red bell pepper in a ginger flavored butter sauce.

I had a salad at lunch, another at dinner w/avacado and an apple today. I ate the apple one half at a time during the day. This was my best f & v day in a while.

Breakfast was a pork sausage omelet w/onion, celery, jalepenos, & cheese. Lunch was a lettuce salad w/roma tomato, cucumber, green onions, & stuffed olives and a square of zucchini lasagna. Are you sitting down? I don't think the earth moved, but I did take my dw out for dinner last night. It was our 38th anniversary, so I decided not to cook. We went to an old Italian restaurant (think dark candle lit tables with Frank Sinatra playing in the background.) I had a mixed lettuce salad w/artichoke hearts, red onion, and pimento, and their "Atkins Special", char grilled marinated chicken breast chunks covered with Alfredo sauce loaded with prosciutto, spinach, and artichoke hearts. We then went home for strawberries and a glass of champagne.

I know I don't get quite enough veggies, but here's an interesting article about the benefits of fiber (which you get from veggies and fruit, as well as stuff like flaxseed meal).

Didn't we already know this?

I had some wonderful fresh Brussels sprouts with supper tonight. So good. And pickles, too. Relish in my tuna salad at lunch. Still not enough, I know.
