Breakfast was Maggie's cereal w/strawberries. Lunch was a lettuce salad w/roma tomato, cucumber, green onions and stuffed olives, and a chipolte seasoned pork burrito w/onion, green pepper, celery, and jalepenos in a l/c tortilla. Tonight I did not exactly have "dinner". We hosted our book club and I served a variety of appetizers and dessert. When I got home and began working on the appetizers, I gnawed on a couple of beef rib bones and finished up the last dab of twice baked fauxtatoes. After our book discussion I noshed on deviled eggs, celery stuffed with brie and crab, mushrooms stuffed with onion, green pepper, bacon & cheese, and a super nacho spread (refried black soybeans, taco meat, cheese, green onion, diced tomato, ripe olives, sour cream & picante sauce) served with l/c chipolte crackers. Dessert was strawberry shortcake made with an almond flour based one minute muffin.

Yummy eatin's, Henry.

Yesterday I had an apple, a salad, and a small avacado.

So far today, I had some cantaloupe and a salad. We're going to a big fancy-schmancy wedding tonight. I'm praying DH will use his recent surgery as an excuse for us to not go to the reception. I don't need any wedding cake.

I hope it worked out for you Maxi. Breakfast was Maggie's cereal w/strawberries. For lunch I started working on the leftover appetizers. Lunch was a deviled egg and a couple of servings of celery stuffed with brie & crab. Dinner was a lettuce salad w/roma tomato, cucumber, mushroom, green onion, and stuffed olives, and a piece of deep dish pizza quiche.

We did skip the reception since he was "hurting". Interestingly enough....the NASCAR Nextel Cup race was TONIGHT instead of the usual Sunday afternoon time. Wow, what timing!

No wedding cake, just a "natural peanut butter and s/f jelly on l/c bread" sandwich for a late dinner. Ho-hum.

Breakfast was a ground beef omelet w/onion and celery. Lunch was an after golf appetizer of celery stuffed with the last of the brie & crab while I fixed dinner. Dinner was roast pork, zucchini carbonara, and green beans w/onion & tomato.

taken from flag day challenge : I've been having problems with my blood sugar level dropping to low and am going to maintain weight by increasing my food a bit these next few months. I know that trying to lose weight right now is not the best thing for me. I've been shaking so bad my shoulders hurt if I wait to eat longer then 2-3 hours between meals.

I should mention that I've been getting so light headed during the day that things grow dark and I'm thankful I haven't passed out completely yet. So I'm going to start eating a bit more to maintain weight and control my sugar levels. I have a blood sugar meter from when I had gestational diabetes and will use it. Luckily this is not diabetes but hypoglycemia and I know I can control this through diet and exercise. For 6 weeks I add in more food to my diet -
Week 1 - unlimited veggies
2 - dairy
3 - fat and protein
4 - fruit
5 - starch
6 - fat (mayo/butter/peanuts)

Today is a salad for lunch and dinner with onions and lots of salsa
for fruit I've had 1 apple and 2 oranges. Feel pretty good!

Heather, you do what you must to be healthy. Breakfast was Maggie's cereal w/strawberries. Lunch was a lettuce salad w/roma tomato, cucumber, green onion, and stuffed olives, and a chipolte seasoned pork burrito w/onion, celery, and green pepper in a l/c tortilla. Dinner was a reprise of the lunch lettuce salad and a piece of deep dish ground beef pizza quiche w/onion, mushrooms, green pepper, and ripe olives.
