Breakfast was in 2 stages this morning. I had cantaloupe before church and them took my wife out for breakfast afterwards where I had sliced tomatoes and an omelet w/onion,bacon,sausage & ham. Lunch was a couple of romaine Rueben wraps where I took and layered turkey pastrami, sourkraut, and cheese, microwaved until the cheese melted, then put in romaine wraps. I made a special Mother's Day dinner for my DW. We had a lettuce salad w/roma tomato, cucumber, green onion, and stuffed olives. For the entree, I fixed crab and shrimp in a white wine cheese sauce with artichoke hearts and broccoli served over Dreamfields linguini. Dessert was a piece of vanilla pound cake w/strawberries & whipped cream.

Heather and Henry: good for you both for keeping the light on here!

I've done okay the last few days....Friday night I found some great bargains in the produce dept. I got a bag of 10 tiny avacados (very ripe) for 49 cents, and a bag of 5 pears for 69 cents. So, I was sort of "vegan" for the next day or so. There was only 1 of the 10 little avacados that was too far gone to eat. The others were sprinkled with salt and pepper and eaten alone or on salad.

Have a good week and I'll try to be more consistent!

Half a pear with breakfast, the other half with lunch, a salad with dinner, followed by some fruit salad (strawberries, apples, and pears). Wow, how good is that? (I hope no Anti Atkins people see this, since we are "supposed to be" eating only cheese and bacon!)
