Sliced apple, more sliced apple, big green salad w/ small avacados (about to get too ripe), and 1 1/2 small peaches. Ripe also. My best day in a while.

Breakfast was Maggie's cereal w/strawberries. Lunch was marinated cucumbers & onions, and something I call antipasto lettuce wraps. I took leaf lettuce and put some pastrami on the lettuce, then added a heaping tablespoon of tuna salad, a couple of stuffed olives, and a small piece of cheese and wraped it up. Dinner was a lettuce salad w/roma tomato, cucumber, green pepper, green onion, and stuffed olives, and a piece of deep dish pizza quiche w/onion, green pepper, mushrooms, ground beef, and ripe olives.

We had a wonderful salad tonight. Spinach leaves with sliced strawberries and some diced jicama dressed with Walden Farms Asian dressing. It was so good!

Saturday......I had a s/f peanut butter & s/f jelly sandwich (Nature's Own Wheat /N Fiber) for a late breakfast, then I worked and slept through lunch, so I made dinner around 6:00....spaghetti w/meat sauce and mushrooms. I just had meat sauce and garlic bread (NOWNF bread). Not really a great day.

Today, I've had a small salad, some salsa, apple slices, and watermelon so far.

Lunch was a huge salad with jicama, tomatoes, cucumbers, red & green peppers, a boiled egg and some diced ham, with Asian dressing and shredded Asiago cheese.

Supper was another salad, similar to the above, w/o jicama or cheese, the last of the pork ribs, and a rutabagas au gratin. Sliced a medium rutabaga, thinly, covered the layered slices with a sauce made with butter, Carbquik and Carb Countdown milk, and shredded Asiago cheese over each of the 2 layers. It was quite good. Brought out the natural sweetness of the rutabaga without the whangy taste so many people detest.
