Henry and Heather, thanks for keeping the light on here. I'm back on track after 3 weeks or so of ???? not sure what!

Today, I've just had some onion and cantaloupe, but I've got some broccoli ready to eat with the brisket we're smoking for dinner...if it ever gets done!

Hi, Henry

I've been doing pretty good this week: green salads, less watermelon, and kiwis and pears thrown in. This may be a big source of my weight troubles over the summer: TOO MUCH FRUIT!!

I'm also going to try to un-demonize my green bean casserole recipe....the sodium content is astronomical.

Take care, I'll check in later.

Hi Maxibee! To much fruit is better then to much sugar, flour or fast food. Doesn't it make your smile that that is what you want to change? Just think of how you used to it. You are doing great and you keep tweeking your plan, learning to fit it with your body chemistry - which can only bring success. I'm so happy for you Maxibee. You are doing wonderful.

Today is raisons and probably green beans.
