Breakfast was Maggie's cereal w/dried cranberries. Lunch was salmon croquettes w/tartar sauce, sweet & sour cabbage, and the last piece of l/c cornbread. Dinner was a veggie blowout as we cleaned out the refrigerator in preparation for leaving town and an ice storm tomorrow for a week in S. California. Dinner was braised pot roast, fauxtatoes and gravy, broccoli, and zucchini w/onion, celery, green pepper, and tomato. This will be last daily menu until the 22nd.

Wow, Henry....good timing on the trip! Have a safe and fun time.....and give some thought to posting the recipe for those yummy-sounding salmon croquettes when you get back, would ya?

I've had salad every night this week....and this is the first one that didn't have an avacado on it! They are 10 for $10 at Tom Thumb, so we may be shopping there this week instead of Kroger.

Well, the weather prevented us from going to Tom Thumb, but the ad is good until Tuesday, so I may stop by for some avacados if the weather is better.

Before we went to the grocery store, we stopped at a pizza/pasta place to eat. I was VERY tempted to order the chicken fettucine, but ended up ordering a chicken Caesar instead. I ate most of it, but was frustrated with the ton of croutons in it. Then, I ate some of DD's pizza! Yikes! And it wasn't even that good. Oh, well!

Like Scarlett O'Hara said "Tomorrow is....another day!"

Yes - tomorrow is another day Maxibee. How is today going?

Veggies and fruit are the same for me today. Should be done with my batch of green beans in a few days and have some nice brussel sprouts I'm anxious to eat.

Breakfast was sausage and l/c pancakes. Lunch was a lettuce salad w/grape tomatoes, cucumber, green onion, and stuffed olives and a piece of Deep Dish Pizza Quiche Supreme w/onion, green pepper, mushrooms, ripe olives, pepperoni. sausage, ground beef, and cheese. Dinner will be l/c friendly but will be determined either when I change planes at DFW or when I arrive in Little Rock. This will be my last post until Sunday.
