Today is a travel day as we are going to visit our son and his family for a long weekend. This will be my last post until Wednesday.
Breakfast was sausage and a l/c waffle w/syrup. Lunch will be a lettuce salad w/grape tomatoes, green onion, and stuffed olives, and the last of the Beef Strogonoff served over cauli-rice. Dinner will be a cranberry spice OMM with cream cheese on the plane this evening.

Today was a return travel day. For breakfast I started with some cantaloupe and then took a variety of leftovers, Dreamfields macaroni, and diced some steak, added a slice of onion, some jalepenos, and chipolte cheddar cheese and microwaved the whole thing making a sort of macaroni and cheese casserole to which I added some tabasco habenaro sauce for a tasty treat. Lunch, while shopping on the way to the airport, was a couple of McDonald's double cheese burgers w/o bun. Speaking of shopping, I scored 7 l/c cook books from the Border's Outlet ranging in price from $2.99 to $5.00. They have some interesting recipes that I am looking forward to trying. Dinner on the way home from the airport was a Cracker Barrel l/c chef's salad.

I hope that you had fun on your trip visiting your ds.

I'm on induction right now so I'm just working on getting in vegetables: last couple of days has been cucumbers and broccoli. The extra servings of fruit has been going to my boys and DH.

Heather, it was a fun trip. It is interesting how my 8 yr. old dgs gravitates to dw and my 6 yr. old dgd dotes on me.
Breakfast was Maggie's cereal. The company catered a mexican lunch for the employees today. I brought a chipolte seasoned egg "tortilla" (a 12" thin omelet) and then wrapped it around some fajita steak, chicken, grilled onion, red pepper, and portobello mushrooms and melted some cheese on top and accompanied it with some guacamole. Dinner was a taco salad w/lettuce, roma tomato, green onion, jalepenos, taco meat and cheese.

Glad to hear you had a good time. My own grandparents are moving here. I haven't had grandparents nearby since I was 8 years old when my Grandpa passed on. Think 30 years old is to old to spoil?I'm out of luck I'm sure.

Monday will be food payday so I'm anxious to get a better variety of salad veggies and meats for induction. Plus I'll get some different induction cheeses and have 2 servings a day. Day 4 of induction of minimum 14.

Heather, Grandkids are never too old to be spoiled by grand parents. It is part of their revenge on their kids.
Breakfast was an Italian seasoned ground turkey omelet w/onion, celery, and cheese. Lunch was a lettuce salad w/roma tomato, cucumber, green onion, and stuffed olives and a piece of Deep Dish Pizza Quiche. Dinner was baked chicken, shiritaki in cheese sauce, and green beans w/onion and tomatoes.
