Yesterday was a bad day for veggies.

Today I had an omelet for lunch with green bell peppers, green onions, and mushrooms, and we had green beans with our supper. I made some nachos with crispbread, so I got a few slices of jalapeno, good vitamin C.

An apple, and a big salad. I am gonna try to get up in time to make myself an omelet out of the leftover broccoli I steamed Sunday.

I had some broccoli in my omelet, then some broccoli and cheese with dinner. Just green today for me. About 4 servings.

I had broccoli for lunch, green bell peppers with supper. We just snacked for supper, pepperoni and cheese. I was too tired to cook. Would have like more veggies, but just didn't have the gumption to do anything about it.

The last of the broccoli went into a ham, cheese, and broccoli omelet. Yum!

An apple for a snack, and a salad with dinner....I got pretty close to 5 today.

lunch, green beans with Nathan's hot dogs

supper, pot roast with rutabaga, onion and brussels sprouts roasted alongside. The veggies were sweet and scrumptious. The rutabaga roasted rivals carrots.

Nita, I still remember the foul tasting mashed rutabaga my mother fixed and am not desparate enough to want to try it yet.
Breakfast was an omelet w/celery, onion, jalepenos, meat & cheese. Lunch was a lettuce salad w/roma tomato, green pepper, green onions, & stuffed olives and ground beef with l/c marinara sauce & cheese. Dinner was roast pork, curried cauli-rice pilaf, broccoli, and sliced strawberries with a splash of cream for dessert.
