Cool I'm back again

I lost 70 lbs by LCE on Atkins from 03 - 04 and although it has been gradual I have regained almost all that weight. The first time around I found you folks to be so very helpful and supportive that since I started back on induction yesterday I decided to log in say "I'm back". I felt so good and healthy at my lower weight of 170lbs and really want to get back to making the choices that will ensure not only that I feel good about myself but that I can just feel good and healthy again. I will try to check in everyday because I now these boards were a huge part of my success and the fact that I haven't logged in since 08/06 which coincides with the insidious gradual weight gain speaks volumes. So its day two of induction and I can't wait for the weight of start dropping off.

Hi, Sean. Welcome back. I'm back, too. I never left LCE, but I did jump the track for a while. Fresh induction going well so far.

Good luck and happy eating to you!

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome back. Day three of induction and the keto strips have turned colour. Had a rough moment handing out yummy looking fancy sandwiches at work but held out and just my equally yummy chicken breast and salad. Going to go cook a lovely piece of sea bass and some asperagus for dinner. While doing LCE on and off I have developed a strong dislike for eggs....I've eat quite a few of them in the last 6 years any suggestions for an alternative breakfast? Thank so much for being here and giving me some much needed accountability.

Sean,
check out the recipe section and the cooking forum...
LC muffins work for me on work days. A muffin with 2 or 3 strips of bacon and I'm a happy camper...LOL!
here's a bran muffin recipe, and here's a blueberry muffin recipe.
Also in the cooking forum, you'll find a thread on The One Minute Muffin...and many variations thereof.

Also, my favorite FAST breakfast is French toast cottage cheese with a side of bacon.
I take a serving of 2% cottage cheese and add a tsp of half and half cream, a drop or 2 of vanilla and liquid splenda and 1 tsp of cinnamon. YUM-O!!
This would not work for those still on induction.

happy eating!!

The One Minute Muffin is my staple. Many variations. I make up the "mix" and keep it in the freezer. Add oil, egg, nuke, and go.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone I will be sure to try the muffins when I am off induction. I had a pleasant surprise today...my second day on induction I gained a pound but when I got on the scale this morning I have dropped 6 lbs . I don't care if it is water I'm going to own it. LOL

Just a heads-up, Sean. The OMM (one minute muffin) the way I make it is Induction friendly. Ground flaxseed and (in my case) wheat bran are pretty much pure fiber, plus oil. The "carbs" are a wash--and the fiber is excellent for digestive function in the (temporary) absence of other vegetable matter.

Hi everyone
Despite the fact that it has been a very busy week I have stayed on plan which is great and when I got on the scale this morning which is day 10 of induction I am down 9.5lbs woohoo!!! I have attempted to go on induction many times in the last couple years but this has been the most successful. This time I gave up the tea with the milk in it and no cheats at all. The very first time I did induction I lost 14lbs and at this rate I just might match that. It is such a great motivator to see the scale go down and clothes to fit better(esp not straining to get my pants done up). Thanks everyone just thought I would share a success because if I stall I be here sharing that too.
