Lisa. When it comes to weight loss, you must make yourself your #1 priority. No one, but you can make you follow a l/c WOE. Good luck on your journey.

You've come to the right place. Everything I can do to keep my brain focused helps: visiting my friends here, reading low-carb books (Good Calories, Bad Calories is keeping me up at night!), using Fitday to record meals, stepping on the scales. For me, denial is the biggest "temptation" (it can last for years!) so I need to make this way of eating an absorbing hobby. Having good folks to talk to 24/7 is a big advantage.

Best wishes.

Hope everyone is doing well today. Tough day, started out well but was tempted by cookies! Back to it tomorrow. I guess I know I will never stop trying. Reading a good book so that helps and getting back to my walking tomorrow. I know the dog will love that! Have a great night and keep on keeping on!

I do not usually eat sweets but here is a link to my chocolate peanut butter truffles that I make at Christmas:

In addition, here is another link that was just posted:

I've made the one minute chocolate cake but did it a little differently. I HATE foods cooked in the microwave as they always taste raw to me so I bake the cakes in the oven, in ramekins. I've increased the recipe and made it into a full sized cake. Oven baking has so vastly improved the taste and texture of some of the recipes I've found that I've been much happier with them. I also don't care as much for the almond flour in this recipe as I find it always has a grainy texture. So I sub pecan flour, much softer and lower in carbs. Significantly cheaper than the almond flour where I live as well. Organic Coconut Flour Recipes has some good recipes posted. I've made the chocolate cake there and it's now a favourite of some of my non-low carbing friends. I use the frosting from the Love and Kisses Cake at lowcarbluxury.com
