for goodness sake!

okay, when i first started low-carb around 8 years ago, i didn't know (much) about artificial sweeteners and baking with them and all that. i jsut ate low carb, and avoided the sugary stuff for the most part. occasionally, when out with friends (or on my own) - i would have something naughty (generally: ice cream ). in this way, i lost around 20-25 pounds over 4 months, and kept that off until i moved to australia and got pregnant . now, i am thinking i will go back to that,...

just had a ginormous salad, with fetta cheese (YUM), egg, and cottage cheese. not feeling so crave-y anymore!

i want to say - i weigh 90kgs at the moment, and wear a size 16 (sometimes 14, but not often . my husband's christmas party is december 21, and i'd love to look hot (hmmm, it will be hot too...it'll be summer here in sydney!! - so i'd love to wear something SLINKY - or at least PRETTY!)

that is my goal. let it be known never mind weeght or size, i jsut...

oh man - i am SO craving sugar (you know...that time...siiigh)

i want someone to tell me that it's okay to just cheat today, while i'm suffering with cramps etc...but on the other hand, i've made jello (sugar free, naturally , that i'm planning to eat with a bit of cream later on (i love that!). Also i could make low-carb peanut butter cookies, or almond crackers, or whatever, without cheating at all! so..no one tell me it's okay, okay?

I Sound Like a Broken Record

Yes, here I am again, harping about needing to get back in focus, get back to my plan, being stricter with my eating.

I know I'm getting too many carbs each day, having too many things I probably shouldn't. I'm not gaining, but I'm sure not losing, either.

So, how do we fix this problem? By beating myself up over it? All that will do is bruise my tender ego. By sitting down and evaluating my eating? Perhaps.

Hi, I am new here and glad to have the support. I was wondering if everyone does the Atkins low carb program, or do some of you just cut down on certain carbs. I used to have issues with getting too obsessive over food, counting calories, etc. and I don't want to do the Atkins plan. I do see myself, however, cutting out breads, pasta and the like. Further, I can see myself eating no more than, say twenty five to thirty grams of carbs a day. Now, I do love these Dr. Prager's Spinach Pancakes....
