First Week Results!

I am pschyed! My first week on this LCE plan is successful. Now in the past I have been on the various diets, but low calorie, low fat. I went to Weight Watchers and Diet Workshop off and on through the years. I have always weighted more than I should and you can't hide it when you are five foot two. Never on any diet or ever in my life did I lose 12 pounds.......yes, you heard me right.......12 pounds in ONE WEEK! I did this time, and I wasn't even hungry the whole time. Wow, is all I can say!!!...

Dec 29th - First Day

Yesterday was tough..but I made it through my first day of LC once again. I knew my body would be like.. what is going on... so I made sure to eat my protein.

I am a scales addict.. and honestly for me.. it helps me. It motivates me. It works for me while for others it discourages. So.. I was rather pleased when I woke up this morning and lost 4lbs of water weight! I have always lost a ton of weight in the first couple of weeks, then it slows down. Again.. I'm ok with that!...

Starting Over.......Again

OK.....here I am again trying to lose weight. I'm new to this site. I looked over everything and it has truly inspired me. I have been up and down with my weight for the last 10 years. I finally today realized, it is time to get back on the bandwagon and lose this unwanted weight. I am getting out of breath just walking up and down our stairs! I know I can do this, but I sometimes need movitivation and a friendly nudge from others. =)

I finally have a loving man in my life that...

Positive Changes For Me

Every time I start to feel this LCE is too good to be true, I refer back to the medical information in Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution book. How could I think this diet was so unhealthy for all this time? Because of being able to eat meat, cheese and butter. The very things that most diets or writers about various medical conditions warn you against. Though now I see that by eating them it keeps me satisfied and I do not crave anything else really.

Started yesterday

Hi Just wanted to be accountable to all who read this...I have started back on LC yesterday I had cervical cancer last year and had everything taken out "south of the border" Started a new job 3 months ago and have gained 22 lbs in those 3 months so I knew I needed to take matters into my own hands (or Mouth) and I always done well with LC but this time I think I need to stay on it and just add more carbs as I go instead of staying on 20 carbs a day for 3 years and burning myself out....
