Okay, so I have this interview for a promotion tomorrow morning. I think that I have a pretty good chance at it. *crossing fingers*
The thing is that I had to go buy a new interview suit. The last one that I had was right after I lost all the weight the first time around and it was about 3 sizes ago.
Let me start with...I hate the mall. I am not a shopper (this does not translate into that I don't spend money, cos I do...too much)
I tried to find something suitable at Walmart
and that didn't work. So I sucked it up and went to the mall. There is a store there called Lane Bryant. It's for bigger women and I have had really good luck there in the past. I have to admit that although the experience was heart wrenching, I did walk away with some good stuff.
But the experience of it was enough to bring tears to my eyes. Dressing (and more important) undressing in front of a full size mirror sucks. I didn't realize how much my body had changed back.
For anyone who reads this that has a problem with the way clothes fit, they should check this place out. They have something called Right Fit that is amazing. I always have problems with things fitting me in my belly and being waaaay too baggy everyplace else.
So I am now going to sit down and go over my resume and think about the things that I need to say to impress tomorrow...
