I am just starting this life-style change. I have tried the just plain "eatting right" along with exercise and have seen no results. My mother, who used to be overweight, looks fabulous after starting the low-carb diet. She claims to have no cravings. Although I am in a healthy weight range at 143lbs for 5'5..I don't feel healthy. I am hoping to look and feel better. I am a little weary of figuring out exactly what foods are good and which ones are bad. I know of the obvious. Pasta, bread, cereal, potatoes. I also have a friend that says carbs can be ok when eatten with a protein. Any thoughts anyone would like to share would be appreciated. :D
