| | yes, you can subtract all the fiber from the carb count; pretty much every lc plan does it that way, regardless of what stage of your plan you're at. (do you have a specific plan?) carbs with fiber do not impact your blood sugar levels the same way as carbs without fiber do. and since fiber is found in so many healthy foods and veggies, it's a total bonus. the time when it's risky to subtract-although manufacturers will do it on the labels-is for most sugar alcohols, because those are processed differently by different people. those, like what you find in the "lc candies" will either leave you in the loo cursing your decision to overindulge or on weighin days cursing the scale...but your focusing on natural as i recall, so you should be in good shape that way. LC junk food is what you've got to watch. we call that "frankenfood" around here... ![]() |

| | Thanks Goddess, I just bought the hemp protein powder and it actually has 14 grams of carbs but also 14 grams of fiber--it says 0 net carbs on the bottle. No added ingredients and no sugar alcohols. I think it is an amazing product! |
