(Not for Eating) Gingerbread House

Posted 01-05-2008 at 12:27 PM by Goddess

This is what my daughter and I did for one of our Christmas activities...we had SO much fun! My daughter is 18, by the way...so it's not like any little ones were working on it...Ha! But it didn't matter and we had a great time. I looked up, and suddenly realized we'd spent several hours constructing this. We've decided to make it an annual Xmas activity.

We decided it looked like a psycho clown on acid made this....

I love your (not for eating) gingerbread house! (even though it DOES kinda look like a psycho clown did it!) What a fun mother-daughter project....or a fun Grandma Honey-Autumn project for next year!

Thanks....it was so much fun! Wonderful $10 investment and would probably make a wonderful grandma/grandma's sweetie project, too.

I did find that one of those cans of frosting with the tips made decorating the edges easier, and for a little one, I wouldn't call them in to help until the house was constructed, dried and ready to decorate.

I reccomend it. If I ever end up with grandkids, we'll be doing this, too.
