I'm baaack! **smiles**

Here I am again. Looking for ways to stay on track. It seems to be so easy to fall back into eating things that are just plain not good for me. I have realized also that I am alergic to wheat which is a real help to staying away from wheat products. It sure doesn't feel good for the roof of my mouth to be on fire! Jan 1, 2008 I was back up to 159 from my low of 145. Still that was lower than my high of 170 in 2003. The low carb lifestyle makes me feel great. I don't understand why I keep slipping away. I can stay on course for about 6 to 9 months then I just fall to pieces. Hopefully this time I will stay on course.
I have lost 3 pounds since Jan 2. Doesn't seem like a lot as I realize that is only 1.5 pounds a week. I guess that is good for a little person who has been dieting in some form or another for 40 years!

    3 lbs since the first is great! If you want to lose just 14 lbs, to get back to your low weight (159-145=14), you have already lost 1/5 of that weight. Not too shabby!

    Any pound gone is a good pound gone, I say!

    It's easy to lose focus sometimes. I know I tend to get too comfortable, and find myself doing that "little here/little there" dance until I've danced myself right into an extra tenspot or more. You're in good company. The important thing is that you know you feel better when you take care of yourself, so you've moved to do that. You go, girl.
