| | not everyone worries about soy, only some do, kat. i drink soy sometimes myself. but everybody has their own things they are concerned with, ya'kno? kind of the same with fats. most of us don't watch them very closely, but some people do aim for leaner cuts of meat, etc. individual thing. good luck on your computer replacement. dead computers stink!! |

| | The problem with soy, from what I've read, is that it interferes with thyroid function, unless it's fermented soy, like soy sauce. However, having soy occasionally probably won't cause problems. I avoid it just because I don't like the taste, except for the black soybeans, and we don't eat them often. As for the fat, the only fat I avoid are most vegetable oils and transfats. Love coconut oil and olive oil, butter, and any kind of meat or poultry fat. I love to take the skin off the roasted chicken and brown it in a skillet to snack on. Yum! Hope you work out your computer woes! |
