My Sunday Morning Drive

Today I got up early to check the computer as I have a busy day. I am driving to our church this morning as the weather isn't too bad. Warming up so I feel pretty safe doing the drive. It is about fifty miles one way. My husband is staying home to keep the woodstove going. It gives him the chance to be home alone and just relax, which for him will be spent on the computer.....working. Though I am sure he will be getting some more firewood and doing chores for the horses. They always want something. Our church is awesome and I am excited to be going again as I have not been since in the fall. We live pretty secluded and once the weather gets bad I will not drive it. So when I get there I will have lots of work to do on the church website. I have about 30 videos to download, edit and then bring back and upload to the server. I will be doing only one at a time until I get the hang of it. My husband used to do them but he got stressed out with all the work he had to do and I told him to teach me. So he is. I am really excited about learning to do all the video work. Our church lasts pretty much all morning and most of the afternoon. So today they are having pizza. I am glad my pastor told me that in advance! So I am going to stop at a store along the way and pick up a chef's salad or something like that. Then I will not be tempted because of hunger. I am not tempted because of pizza, but sometimes at church I get very hungry. Of course I am bringing my own water. I do not drink water from other houses or store bought types. Just always make sure to bring my own from home. Our water has nothing in it and is very clean and tastes so good. I always drank it even before starting the LCE. I also know what I am fixing for dinner when I get home. And, most imortantly, am looking forward to it. I am making my chicken with hot wing sauce for our dinner and we both love that. I make my own sauce while the chicken is cooking. If I have really good meals at home I am never tempted when someone tries to offer me something that is not on my plan. I have noticed though that I am taking smaller portions than I used to. In the beginning I was just happy to know that I could eat as much as I wanted. Now I still am. Just less. Also using my imagination to come up with really tasty dishes. katlupe
