Which Vitamins Benefit Low Carbing?

I am researching vitamins today. There are so many that it makes your head spin! I have been reading my DANDR (Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution) and made a list of the ones Dr. Atkins mentions. They can be very pricey! But so can bad health. I am not one to put confidence in the medical community and take responsibility for my own health as much as possible. I know my own body only too well.
So I am seeing that I probably need a basic low carb vitamin formula that I found that was compared to Dr. Atkins' own formula and I found it at a good price. Next would be Borage Oil, Chromium Picolinate, Fish Oil containing EPA and DHA and Anti-Oxidant nutrients. I always take my Vitamin C so that's no problem. He had some other ones that I would think of adding in the future. Such as Pantethine, Niacin and Carnitine and of course he mentions adding fresh garlic to your diet daily which I already do.
Something I do with any new supplement I add is to add one new item at a time. Then maybe 2-4 weeks later add the next one. So they aren't all added at once and upset my system. I do that with any of my herbal infusions or teas and it always seemed the best thing for me.
It seems that it is just common knowledge to add vitamins to your daily diet. But many people do not. I know from my homesteading lifestyle which includes eating as close to the food source as possible and raising your food organically that the vitamins and minerals in your store bought foods is VERY low. So adding supplements seems like a good idea.![]()
