Low Carb Meals Are Easy To Prepare!

Posted 10-04-2009 at 04:09 PM by katlupe (katlupe's Low Carb Eating Plan)

Having access to all the recipe websites such as recipezaar, allrecipes and cdkitchen, etc, just to name a few and that is not listing all the lowcarb sites and blogs where there is a wealth of recipes, it is not difficult at all to find whatever recipe you need. I go to the recipe sites and put "low carb" into their search box and usually get pages. Sometimes I find recipes that are not really low carb but can make the changes to them to make them acceptable to me.

The One Minute Muffin Or Better Known As OMM

Posted 09-09-2009 at 04:45 PM by katlupe (katlupe's Low Carb Eating Plan)

One of the hardest things for most people when switching to low carbs is the no bread thing. I mean, how can you eat a sandwich with no bread? What can you eat with your eggs in the morning? What about peanut butter? You can eat that! But without bread! Anyone care for peanut butter on a spoon? Well, to be honest, I have eaten it that way myself. Not bad.

The One Minute Muffin or better known as OMM comes to the rescue. I eat it with my eggs all the time. I cut it in half...

Linda Yoakam who co-wrote the book with Sue Spitler recommends at least 130 carbs a day!!!! No wonder people have trouble losing weight with a "nutrition" professional" advising people to eat that many carbs.
I wrote that in a previous blog a few days ago. Then I was getting that book ready to list on paperbackswap...

Low Carb Cookbooks

Posted 07-30-2009 at 06:28 PM by katlupe (katlupe's Low Carb Eating Plan)

I am SO psyched today!! I received two books from paperbackswap that have been on my wish list ever since I started eating low carbs. Two on the same day from the same person. My name must have come to the top of the wish list just in time and she listed both of them. So I'll stop keeping you in suspense and tell you the books I got......

The first one is George Stella's Livin' Low Carb : Family Recipes Stella Style and it looks great! In new condition. Makes me wonder about...
