My Losses So Far

I am pretty happy tonight. I have lost 32 pounds since Christmas Eve, the day I started this LCE. For me that is really good. I am not very tall and every pound on me looks like more.

I am making some adjustments to my plan. One is that I am going to be stricter on my condiments and especially my salad dressings. I used to make my own dressings and plan on getting back to doing that again. They are way better anyway.

I am thinking that maybe I am eating too much fat. When I fill my food in on Fitday the fat grams always make me cringe. I know we shouldn't be so concerned with the fat grams, but maybe I could cut back on that a little anyway.

Some days I do not get my 20 carbs and I wanted to have 25. I think I just get busy and don't get around to making something to eat. So I am going to concentrate on that tomorrow.

Plus making sure I get all my water in. I drink alot if I am aware of it, but like not eating when I'm busy, I do the same with drinking. I am very happy with my success on this plan, just making these little changes and see how it goes.

Yes, I am! Coming here is what I owe my success to!! This place is awesome. People helping each other and getting excited about each other's losses. Never having seen each other in person, but I find myself quoting "my friends" to others. Plus, every time I eat my chicken thighs with crispy skin......I think of how you love them too!

How weird, how did you know we are having roast chicken tonight, and I'm going to eat those crispy skins and enjoy the fat running down my chin! LOL! Sometimes I pull all the skin off the chicken, then brown it crisp in a skillet, eat it like pork skins or chips. Yummo!

This is wrong. There are no (accurate!) studies shwoing meat being bad for your health. Fat and protein in any form is better then carbs in general. We do not need carbs to live but we do need protein AND fat to survive. That's a hint right there.

I remember. seoomne asking about it before, and seem to remember there was very little experience with it (even some confusion about what it was). There are a couple of die-hard low-carbers around here though, they may have used it at some point.
