Nice job on the blogs Dixie! My journal has been like a blog so I'll try this for a while.
My cabinets.... I should seriously take a picture and post it before I pull everything out of them. I have low fat, low calorie, nutra system, weight watchers, myoplex shakes (from body for life).. tells a story, doesn't it?
Anyway, I'll pull everything out of them today. I lost 30 pounds on Atkins and nothing on the rest. Everybody is different and for some people, those things may be the way that works for them. My family has a scary tendency toward diabetes and I really think sugar/starch doesn't work for me. I crave sugar when I'm not doing atkins. It's a serious craving too, like when I quit smoking. I think that's my tendency talking to me.
It's been a few days and so far no "Atkins flu". I'm re reading the book, making ham salad, eating veggies and drinking water. I know I should give up caffeine and I haven't. Diet soda is just bad all the way around. I think if I don't give up caffeine completely, I'll try green tea instead. I have a bunch of it in decaf, but I was reading that that process removes almost all the anti-oxidants, though.
